VEVC Board Re-Structures

VEVC Board Re-Structures

At its monthly Board Meeting on July 14th, 2018, the Victoria Electric Vehicle Club appointed two new members, bid farewell to two more and re-structured its executive.

Lisa Locke departs the board for a two year Jansky Fellowship at the National Radio Astronomical Observatory in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jim Henshaw steps down to concentrate on event organization for the club as well as managing our webpage.

They are replaced by retired Naval officer Glenn Garry and Julian Sale of Motorize.ca.

James Locke remains President with an added emphasis on the club’s national and international EV community relationships.

David Grove becomes the Board’s Vice President, chairing all VEVC meetings and supervising all local activities. Dave’s first official act was securing our official sponsorship of the February 1, 2019 Eco-Night event with the Victoria Royals.

Heather Kellington, David Kenway, Arno Keinonen and Manfred Wissemann retain their positions with Heather also assisting David in his treasurer duties.
