Survey Confirms Dealerships Lack EV Knowledge

Financial Post reporter Mia Rabson this week confirmed what most EV owners already know, that New Car Dealerships are one of the biggest hurdles customers have to get over if they want to purchase an electric car.

Citing a survey conducted by the Canadian government last winter, Ms Rabson listed two major factors discouraging EV buyers — sticker shock and a limited variety of vehicle models.

But the survey also found that most salespeople lack even basic knowledge of how electric cars work and what it’s like to drive one. The full Financial Post report can be found here.
