Our First Free EV Weekend Winner!

This morning even the dreary skies over View Royal couldn’t wipe the excited smile off Rick Gallard’s face as he picked up the free Nissan Leaf from Motorize Electric Vehicles he’ll be driving this weekend.

With opportunities for public engagement curtailed by the pandemic, VicEVA has partnered with Victoria Now to give twelve people over the next three months, the chance to spend a weekend in an electric car.

Before this morning, Rick had never even sat in an EV. But he’s been following their development for a long time and thinks both he and a couple of other family members will soon be joining the r-EV-olution.
