BC EV Rebates Near Depletion!

As the online tracker on the CEV for BC website ticks lower, British Columbia Car Dealerships are being notified that the current funding for EV purchase incentives are being restricted to manual applications only.

Some manufacturers are already telling us they have been informed that rebates for new buyers are no longer available, which may mean that the applications already in the system will fully deplete the fund well before its March 31 Fiscal Year End.

With companies like Tesla currently delivering between 30 and 50 new EVs per day to Canadian customers from their Vancouver storage lot alone, it’s clear that demand from BC residents remains high.

But no news has been forthcoming from fund administrators if rebates will be topped up until the new budget year allocation kicks in on April 1.
