It is with great pleasure that the Victoria Electric Vehicle Club announces its Fourth Annual ECO NIGHT on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena starting at 7:05pm.

Those attending get to see Victoria’s Royals take on their arch-rivals, the Kelowna Rockets. Last year’s final game between these two teams was voted “The Best WHL Game of All Time” and expectations are high for another classic.

EVs on show

But in addition, we’ll be showing off the latest model EVs around the inner concourse and outside the arena. These include the amazing Tesla Model X as well as electric buses, electric motorcycles and displays and presentations from providers of alternative energy, charging systems and local environmental groups.

We’re also bringing back the ever popular parade of EVs on the arena ice.

Prizes and Giveaways … including a Model S for 24 hours

There will be several Eco-friendly giveaways as well, plus free carry bags for the first 2500 guests to arrive. And this year, someone will go home with a certificate to drive and enjoy a Tesla Model S for 24 hours.

This is the VEVC’s prime fundraising event for our ongoing efforts to improve the local environment, increase the adoption of zero emission vehicles and improve the EV infrastructure for Victoria and all of Vancouver Island.

50/50 Draw

And to assist us further in those efforts the BC Gaming Commission has generously granted us the opportunity to host the night’s 50/50 draw.

Tickets…Club Section

This year we’ve reserved a block of seats in the Royals exclusive Club section.
