VicEVA holds 2020 AGM

The 4th Annual General Meeting of the Victoria Electric Vehicle Association was held on the afternoon of October 31, 2020 in accordance with the rules of the British Columbia Societies Act regarding Non-Profits.

A total of 38 members attended via Zoom and were provided with a financial statement and updates on all of the Associations activities over the past 12 months as well as what is hoped can be achieved in the coming year.

Reports were provided by the leads of all of our committees and President David Grove provided his perspective on both the state of the Association and the local EV Community.

The meeting accepting withdrawls from two Board members, Arno Keinonen and Jim Hindson, who both move on to other endeavors.

Treasurer Heather Kellington spoke glowingly of both men with Arno leaving after 8 continuous years of service and Jim completing his second term as a member of the Association executive.

Interviews with members who have been active on Association Committees or have expressed interest in participating in the Board are now under way.

The meeting concluded with a discussion of issues of concern offered by members in attendance and ideas for new activities.
