Vancouver Launches Dedicated EV Parking

As it moves forward with its plans to become 100% Energy sustainable, Vancouver has become British Columbia’s first city to provide dedicated parking for electric vehicles at local parking lots.

The city has partnered with private lot owner EasyPark to offer dedicated zero emission vehicle parking in 10% of the available stalls in 18 EasyPark locations, totalling 174 stalls.

These dedicated parking spots will be available for zero emissions vehicles only, and will be in addition to over 300 electric charging stations that have now been installed in Vancouver parking lots and on curbsides around the city.

Participating locations can be found by linking to Plugshare or Chargehub.
