We’ve all been excitedly waiting for Tesla’s first mass-market all-electric vehicle, the Model 3. It was hinted at in Elon Musk’s 2006 Master Plan, and has been an integral part of Tesla’s Mission:
to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Between 400 and 500 thousand reservations have been placed since the Model 3 Unveiling Event last March 31, 2016 and the anticipation started. If you were one of the lucky few who received an invitation to the party tonight in Fremont, CA tonight, grrr… no seriously, I’m jealous, have fun.
But for the rest of us, you can watch the handover of the first 30 Model 3s and watch the party live, access it through the Tesla Model 3 page, or directly through the Tesla Events Link which should be updated later today. If you haven’t already, follow us on our VEVC Facebook or Twitter sites for updated links the the video feed later today.
The live streaming starts at 8:45 PM Pacific, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is scheduled to speak at 9 PM (or later, this is 9 PM EST = Elon Standard Time) where the details of the battery, the supercharging details, the first clear views of the interior dash, and any surprises may be unveiled.
