Pandemic Charging Advice

Since many of us are staying close to home over the next few weeks, the need for charging has decreased, but here are some recommendations (via Sun Country) should you need to visit a public charging station.

  • Carry some disinfecting wipes or hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol) in your vehicle. Be sure to clean your hands thoroughly after using any charging station and avoid touching your face. Wash your hands as soon as you can after charging.
  • As a courtesy to the next driver, wipe the station’s handle with a disinfecting wipe when you are finished with your charge.
  • If you are a business that offers public charging, please add the charging station(s) to your cleaning routine to help keep your customers and visitors safe and healthy.
  • If you are feeling unwell or experiencing flu like symptoms follow the instructions from the World Health Organization (WHO) or your local health authority. Wait to charge your vehicle until you are well and have followed isolation protocol.
