Here Comes Santa Claus!

The Victoria EV Club will once again have an entry into Victoria’s Island Farms Santa’s Lights Parade and we hope you all can join the more than 60,000 people who will be lining the downtown parade route on Saturday night. This year, we’ll be joined by the Victoria Royals beloved mascot “Marty the Marmot” as we kick off the promotion for our annual ECO-Night celebration of EVs and a Zero-emission lifestyle taking place as the Royals battle their Washington State rivals, the Tri-City Americans, at the SOF Arena on February 1, 2019.

If you can’t make it to Victoria for this official inauguration of the Christmas season, the parade will be broadcast live on both Facebook and CHEK-TV starting at 5:00 pm on November 24, with subsequent streams and rebroadcasts that have made the parade a favorite among more than a million people around the world.

What we’ve always found so rewarding about participating in this event is the incredibly positive reaction the brightly decorated cars receive from adults and kids alike. It really gets everyone into the spirit of the season. We hope to see you there.
