Greetings! We are considering buying a used Nissan leaf, but don’t have the leafspy app or dongle. Is there anywhere to borrow/rent it in Victoria?

Is it even necessary? The dash shows 12 bars, I guess I don’t mind if it is 95% or 86% SOH.

Should not matter that much if your dash is showing 12 bars.  The advantage of Leaf Spy is the it will give the stats on each pair of battery cells (6 pairs).  If you are going to buy a Leaf anyway, you might as well download the app and pick up a dongle.  The app will tell you which dongle works best and I think Motorize still sells them at about $40 each.

Not sure where one could rent one?
