Invitation to Qualicum Beach Spring VLC Road Trip! Sunday April 26, 2015

You are invited on the Victoria Leaf Club Road Trip to Qualicum Beach for an event on Sunday April 26, 2015

The Leaf Club has been asked to participate in the ‘Flourishing In A Green Economy” event being held at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, 747 Jones Road, Qualicum Beach. The event features EVs, solar panel suppliers, related green businesses and participants interested in the green economy.

Fred Wissemann, VLC President, will be on the speaker’s panel for an EV forum at 10:00 am on Sunday. There will be public display area for EVs and you are invited to display your EV.

Volunteers are being sought to help operate a 4 km shuttle between the Civic Centre and the Hamilton Marsh to provide an opportunity for people who have never experienced a ride in an electric vehicle. This optional event could be a great opportunity to share your EV experiences with others that are considering an EV purchase.

The organizers have offered to billet out-of-town EV drivers overnight on Saturday for those that would like to make a weekend of the trip. There is also a breakfast for EV drivers being organized for Sunday morning in Qualicum Beach before the event.
