ECO-Night is Almost Here
Friday, February 7th is the date for the VEVC’s 8th Annual “ECO-Night” celebration in conjunction with the Victoria Royals hockey team. This year the home team will be battling their WHL game arch-rivals the Kelowna Rockets.
And we’ll be presenting 7000 Victoria fans with the latest innovations in zero-emission transportation.
In addition to filling the Save-On-Foods concourse with the latest models of EVs and EV infrastructure, parading electric cars on the ice and giving away lots of great EV prizes, we’re taking over the game’s 50/50 draw.
To that end, we still need a dozen volunteers to sell tickets from 6:00 PM until the 2nd intermission (about 8:30 PM). You can bring kids in their teens to help you. As a small thank you, we’ll provide each volunteer with a meal voucher, good for a burger or slice of pizza plus a non-alcoholic beverage.
If you’d like to help out, just respond by email to this website.
And if you can’t help out by selling 50/50 tickets, we’d appreciate your purchasing tickets to the game through the club.
We’ve got great seats you can buy for $14 — that’s more than $5 below the retail price. And for that small donation, you’ll get the whole show plus a terrific hockey game, some surprises we’re keeping secret until game night — and a chance at the many prizes that will be handed out to those in attendance.
If you want tickets, just email this website the number of seats you need and we’ll make sure we get them to you.
