Sooke Slow Food Cycle Report

A convoy of eleven 100% electric cars made their way through the Sooke Hills

to the Sooke Slow Food Cycle Event .

Many event visitors enjoyed driving an electric car for the first time and showed us

a big EV-Smile as they reluctantly got out of our Electric Cars.

People wanted to know what our life with an electric car was like.

They were happy to learn one charge could take them to Victoria and back.

The prospect of no Gas, no Tailpipe, no Polution of the " Nissan LEAF " found wide appeal.

All in all, it was a very layed back kind of a day. People were making their rounds

from exhibit to exhibit, sitting on the grass around the stage and enjoyed the performances

of the String Quartet of the Sooke Philarmonic Orchesta under the direction of Anne McDougall

and other popular local bands.
